my mayor (says any person with morals and political awareness)

November 4th, the much awaited Mayoral election of New York City, is today! A mayoral election that has captivated people across the world for, arguably, the greatest city in the world is taking place in school near you (if you live in New York City of course). So, here’s the rundown of the marital candidates from my perspective:

Democratic Candidate: Zohran Mamdani, the cheery faced, young, bright, biggest enemy to Trump, with radical ideas that include free busses, childcare, and taxing the rich. The basis of his platform is to make New York City more affordable for the average person. A mayoral candidate that speaks multiple languages used by many New Yorkers, showcased in his relatable and funny videos. Appealing to the young audience through a fun online presence and connecting with the people of New York with much needed political goals, Mamdani smashed, his opponent, Cuomo, in the democratic primary elections. Despite being painted as a muslim terrorist out to destroy NYC with the implementation of sharia law, because of his condemnation of Israels genocide and support of the Palestinian movement, the people have spoken and have chosen him as their mayor, many of whom are Jewish by the way.

Republican Candidate: Curtis Swila, the parade lover and famously a victim of being shot 5 times seems to have a personal vendetta against independent candidate Cuomo who is never able to escape Swilas digs at his fucked up sexual history. His signature red beret unfortunately doesn’t seem enough to convince New Yorkers to turn their city red.

(The most controversial) Independent Candidate: Andrew Cuomo, former governor of New York State has a track record of assaulting 13 women and bringing up Israel any chance. As a surprise to no one, former governor Cuomo is openly endorsed by current felon in office, President Trump, and other terribly reputed Musk, unlike opponent Mamdani who has been personally attacked by Trump, Musk, and Kirk. Zionists including Cuomo himself, have been spreading racist, islamiphobic advertisements painting Mamdani as a monster. With nothing very great about his campaign anyways, one must wonder, why would I vote for Cuomo? Answer is, your a zionist, a racist, Islamophobe, and a heartless person overall <3

When Mamdani wins, it will be historic for muslims, people of color, and those supporting the Palestinian movement who have been constantly villainized the media and those in power. Mamdani has been openly advocating for Palestine and criticizing Israel. During this time of campaigning and advertising, it must be noticed that Mamdani’s advocacy for Palestine has watered down to the point where he has said he believes in Israels right to exist and has publicly denounced the usage of the word intifada, which is Arabic for revolution. However, it also must be taken into consideration the circumstanced in which he is running for mayor in. We are living in a time where in the mayoral debate for NEW YORK CITY, questions about Israel were asked several times. Candidates were asked which country they would first visit after being elected, all of whom except for Mamdani said Israel. Our politicians are AIPAC bought and our media is only focused of the religion and skin color of one of the best mayoral candidates this city has ever seen. Compared to the only other possible candidate to win the election, Cuomo, Mamdani is the best option. This is not a lesser evil conversation like there was during the presidential election this year for Trump and Harris, this is a conversation about a disgusting zionist multi-millionaire candidate and a pro-affordability, pro-Palestine, pro-the people candidate. The only hopes once Mamdani wins is that he won’t end up like AOC, a failed dream for the people of New York City.
