The wests obsession with using “liberating” Muslim women in the Middle East as an excuse to seize land, power, and control over oil while simultaneously using it as a way to villiaizing Muslim men through propaganda is not a new thing and yet too many are acting oblivious to this fact for what is happening in Iran.
Its ironic that people really think that the nation which is run by pedophiles and Islamophobes who desperately try to censor any kind of news/posts that oppose their narrative would care for Iranian women’s freedom. That the nation that is openly and brutally killing, kidnapping, and reigning terror on their own streets would care for the safety of Iranians. That the nation who adamantly refused to listen to their own peoples protests for 2 years about a genocide (that they themselves were funding) would listen and act upon the *select* protests held by Iranian people against their government. Right…
Seeing diasporic Iranians, liberals, so called “feminists” supporting this war on Iran really shows us in real time how history is repeated. People in the west are actively celebrating US imperialism being carried out in the name of “liberation” which we have seen the devastating results of in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and Libya. Now we are seeing it in Cuba and Venezuela. Seeing the mass destruction and killings happening in the world at the hands of the US and there always being people who support it and allowing it to continue is desensitizing us to the point that we have people celebrating right now the bombing of their own people. This is what allows imperialism remain and allows history to be repeated. It is the lack of emphasis on learning history and lack of media literacy which fuels propaganda and misinformation.
Those who are celebrating the assassination of Khamenei today are essentially celebrating the exact same imperialist power that over threw their democratically elected Prime Minister of Iran, Mohammad Mosaddegh, back in 1953. Additionally, while its true there are Iranians who were against Khamenei as seen in the protest videos amplified by western media to justify Khamenei’s assassination to the regular people, there were several gatherings/marches to support Khamenei by Iranian people but they just left out of the conversation because it doesn’t fit into the narrative the west is trying to sell. Therefore its clear that peoples support to a government is not even a factor into the US when it comes to operations like the one we are seeing now in Iran, instead they act on convenience and for power.
In the context of Israhell, the war on Iran was a long time coming. It was planned by Israhell in such a way that they promised to go through with it regardless of US support. To bring to light the connection between Israhell and Iran during the most heightened time of the Palestinian genocide, Iran Iran stood firm on its condemnation of the colonial, genocidal project while most other Arab countries shook hands with Netanyahu and did nothing to support the Palestinian people. Thats a fact worth noting as well when looking at motives for this war.
Western hypocrisies on feminism
Palestine really showed the true colors of these white liberal feminists as they always had so much to say on the vicious violations of freedom of women in Afghanistan, for example, but had they mouths shut when it came to Palestine. Many progressives even earned the title of PEP, Progressive Except Palestine, title over their reluctance to join to pro-Palestinian movement and condemn Israhell. But to focus back on the liberal point of view, we are once again seeing them have so much to say about Iranian women because it is easy to condemn colored people, more specifically Muslim men, than it is to condemn their own, whether that be white people like Israhellis or democrats in general. They had/have nothing to say to the mass rapes of Palestinians nor the IOF fighting for the ability to rape Palestinian prisoners. But they also just ignore the fact that several of their own Democratic Party members were in the Epstein files or the fact that Presidential candidate for the last election knew all about every this whole time but never said anything. They also I guess have nothing to say about the fact that more Democrats, to be exact 182 democrats to 175 republicans, voted in congress against the release of congressional sexual misconduct reports.
As we celebrate International Women’s day today by looking at powerful and inspirational women, let us also mourn the 160 schoolgirls who were murdered in one of the first acts of this war by US and Israhell. 160 lives, 160 futures, 160 universes to their loved ones, 160 children that never got to see peaceful and fruitful future they were promised and aspired for. Let our hearts bleed for all the mothers who have had to watch their children die in their arms and for all our martyrs paying the price for white colonialism.
